Lewis McDonald, Programmer & Co-Owner
Lewis has been developing EncomPos Retail and solutions since 2004. He is a graduate of Hofstra University with a major in Computer Science. He went on from college to work for Solomon Smith Barney as part of the development staff for their accounting department. Afterward Lewis took his programming skills to Florida where he developed point of sale software for another company until leaving and starting up EncomPos Software.
The Scubaocity Reservation Connector was written in 2013 after meeting Gary Mace at a DEMA show and understanding the need to connect an online calendar to our point of sale software. And in August of 2020, Gary handed over the reigns to Lewis to continue to build on his work.
Kim Morris, Sales & Support & Co-Owner
Kim comes from a background of retailing and customer service. After graduating from the University of Hawaii she spent many years working retail, from being a cashier to a store manager. Wanting a change in pace, Kim went to work for a point of sale software company in Florida, where she and Lewis met and eventually left together in 2004 to start EncomPos Software.
In addition to sales and support, Kim is also responsible for creating the websites for both EncomPos Software and in 2020, Scubaocity.
